     RESOLVED, That the special legislative study commission created by resolution No.

375 passed by the Senate at its January session, A.D. 2010, and approved June 25, 2010, entitled

“Special Legislative Commission To Study The Purchase And Use Of Textbooks In Public

Schools” and as extended by resolution No. 418 passed by the House of Representatives at its

1-5

January session, A.D. 2011, and approved June 30, 2011, entitled “Joint Resolution Extending

The Reporting And Expiration Dates Of The Special Legislative Commission To Study The

1-7

Purchase And Use Of Textbooks In Public Schools” is hereby authorized to continue its study

1-8

and make a report to the General Assembly on or before March 1, 2012, and said commission

1-9

shall expire on May 3, 2012; and be it further

     RESOLVED, That the time for reporting authorized by resolution No. 375, passed by the

1-11

Senate at its January session, AD. 2010, and approved June 25, 2010 and as extended by

1-12

resolution No.418, passed by the House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2011, and

1-13

approved June 30, 2011 be and the same is hereby rescinded.

IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS

     This resolution would extend the reporting and expiration dates of the Special Legislative

Commission to study the purchase and use of textbooks in public schools from October 1, 2011,

to March 1, 2012, and said commission would expire on May 3, 2012.
