A N A C T

RELATING TO MOTOR AND OTHER VEHICLES - REGISTRATION OF VEHICLES

     Introduced By: Representatives Melo, Gallison, Morrison, Marcello, and Blazejewski

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

     SECTION 1. Chapter 31-3 of the General Laws entitled "Registration of Vehicles" is

hereby amended by adding thereto the following section:

     31-3-92. Chief Judge Emeritus – Jeremiah S. Jeremiah Jr. -- The administrator of the

division of motor vehicles is authorized and directed to issue a special registration plate for the

1-5

private passenger motor vehicle of former Family Court Chief Judge Jeremiah S. Jeremiah, Jr.

1-6

This plate is to bear the identification "Chief Judge Emeritus" with an appropriate number and

seal of the state thereon imprinted and the plate shall be furnished without an additional

1-8

registration charge for such period of time as Judge Jeremiah so desires.

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
