Osteogenic Sarcoma. Many hospitals around the nation are once perilously close to running out

1-8

of Methotrexate; and

and then shuts down temporarily. A shortage may also take place when a drug manufacturer fails

to produce medication in large quantities because of small profit margins; and

WHEREAS, Shortages in the supply of cancer medications that result from drug

1-13

manufacturers’ decisions to maximize their profits and that lead to the deaths of innocent patients

1-19

result of a drug company’s refusal to manufacture a cancer drug due to profit motivations; and be

2-1

it further

2-2

RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and he hereby is authorized and directed to

2-3

2-4

Delegation.
