RELATING TO SOLEMNIZATION OF MARRIAGES

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

     SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, Charlotte

P. Kelley, Justice of the Peace in the State of Connecticut, may join Reece Pearson Briere and

Bethany Lynn Simpson in marriage within the Town of Burrillville, Rhode Island, on or about

July 1, 2012. The Honorable Charlotte P. Kelley is hereby authorized and empowered to join the

1-5

foregoing persons in marriage pursuant to and in accordance with chapter 15-3 of the general

1-6

laws, entitled "Solemnization of Marriages."

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
