RELATING TO SOLEMNIZATION OF MARRIAGES

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

     SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, Joseph

John McBurney may join Lauren Elizabeth Kacmar and Andrew Stephen DeCastro in marriage

within the City of Newport, Rhode Island, on or about November 9, 2012. Joseph John

1-4

McBurney is hereby authorized and empowered to join the foregoing persons in marriage

1-5

pursuant to and in accordance with chapter 15-3 of the general laws, entitled “Solemnization of

1-6

Marriages.”

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
