RELATING TO MOTOR AND OTHER VEHICLES - LICENSE FOR MOTORCYCLES | |

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |

     SECTION 1. Chapter 31-10.1 of the General Laws entitled "Special License for |

Motorcycles, Motor Scooters, and Other Motor Driven Cycles" is hereby amended by adding |

thereto the following section: |

     31-10.1-1.3. Motorcycle education courses - landowner immunity from civil liability. |
1-5 |
– Any landowner, who allows their private property to be used, whether or not for a fee, as an |
1-6 |
instructional educational course for a certified motorcycle driver education program shall not be |
1-7 |
liable for any personal injury, wrongful death, property damage, or other loss or damage that may |
1-8 |
occur during the course of instruction or training. The immunity granted by this section shall not |
1-9 |
apply to willful or malicious failure to warn against a known dangerous condition, use, structure |
1-10 |
or activity. |
1-11 |
     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
