EXPRESSING CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF DALE A. DWYER | |

     WHEREAS, It is with profound sadness that we have learned of the passing of Dale A. |

Dwyer, a woman who was deeply devoted to her family and friends. Our thoughts and hearts hold |
1-3 |
great empathy and sorrow for her loved ones. We grieve with her husband, Raymond A. LaFazia, |
1-4 |
her brother, Robert E. Dwyer and his wife, Joan, her father-in-law, Raymond LaFazia, and sister- |
1-5 |
in-law, Chief Judge Jeanne LaFazia, and her husband, George Mason, her nieces, Megan, Erin, |
1-6 |
Caitlyn, and Devon, nephew, Ryan Dwyer, great-nephews, and great-nieces on their tremendous |
1-7 |
loss. Her dog, Emma, held a special place in Dale’s heart; and |
1-8 |
     WHEREAS, Dale was born in 1953, to her proud parents, the late Robert and Virginia |
1-9 |
(Lange) Dwyer. She graduated in 1970 from Ponagansett High School; and |
1-10 |
     WHEREAS, Dale Dwyer was a strong advocate for the prevention of animal cruelty and |
1-11 |
was instrumental in ending the use of gas chambers at the Glocester Animal Shelter, among other |
1-12 |
locations; and |
1-13 |
     WHEREAS, Besides her family and friends Dale enjoyed gardening, floral arranging, |
1-14 |
embroidering, cooking, parties (especially Christmas), and all things Irish, but most of all |
1-15 |
animals; and |
1-16 |
     WHEREAS, A devoted wife, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, and animal lover, Dale |
1-17 |
A. Dwyer will live on for many years to come in the memories of everyone fortunate enough to |
1-18 |
have been touched by the quality of this remarkable woman; now, therefore be it |
1-19 |
     RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations |
1-20 |
hereby expresses our deepest sympathy to the entire Dwyer and LaFazia families on the passing |
1-21 |
of Dale A. Dwyer. She enriched the lives of all who knew her and will be dearly missed; and be it |

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and he hereby is authorized and directed to |

transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to Mr. Raymond A. LaFazia. |
