EXPRESSING CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF ANTONIO REBUSSINI | |

     WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that we have learned of the passing of Antonio |

Rebussini, a man who was deeply devoted to his family and friends. He was the beloved husband |
1-3 |
of the late Giovanna (Iacobucci) Rebussini. We grieve with his sons, Gino Rebussini and his |
1-4 |
wife, Patricia, Robert Rebussini and his wife, Carol, and his cherished grandchildren, Luca, |
1-5 |
Robert, and Erica, on their tremendous loss. He was also the brother of Panfilia Rebussini, of |
1-6 |
Italy; and |
1-7 |
     WHEREAS, Antonio was born in Pescina, Italy, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. |
1-8 |
Damiano Rebussini; and |
1-9 |
     WHEREAS, Mr. Rebussini was a man of many talents. Before he came to the United |
1-10 |
States, he was a professor of Latin and Italian languages. After settling in this country, he worked |
1-11 |
as an insurance agent with Prudential Insurance for twenty-six years and managed his own |
1-12 |
income tax practice until his retirement; and |
1-13 |
     WHEREAS, Antonio loved his family and enjoyed cooking, playing the piano, making |
1-14 |
wine, and telling jokes; and |
1-15 |
     WHEREAS, Even though we are diminished by this loss and mourn the passing of |
1-16 |
Antonio, so must we celebrate the spirit, generosity, and courage with which he lived every day |
1-17 |
of his life; and |
1-18 |
     WHEREAS, A devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, Antonio Rebussini |
1-19 |
will live on for many years to come in the memories of everyone fortunate enough to have been |
1-20 |
touched by the quality of this remarkable gentleman; now, therefore be it |
2-21 |
     RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations |
2-22 |
hereby expresses our deepest sympathy to the entire Rebussini family on the passing of Antonio. |
2-23 |
He enriched the lives of all who knew him and will be dearly missed; and be it further |
2-24 |
     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and he hereby is authorized and directed to |
2-25 |
transmit duly certified copies of this resolution to Gino Rebussini and Robert Rebussini. |
