RELATING TO SOLEMNIZATION OF MARRIAGES

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:

     SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, The

Honorable Leonidas P. Raptakis, of Coventry, Rhode Island, may join Roberta Bavaro and Erma

Howarth in marriage within the Town of Burrillville, Rhode Island, on or about August 3, 2013.

The Honorable Leonidas P. Raptakis is hereby authorized and empowered to join the foregoing

1-5

persons in marriage pursuant to and in accordance with chapter 15-3 of the general laws, entitled

1-6

“Solemnization of Marriages.”

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
