It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |

     SECTION 1. Section 23-24.11-3 of the General Laws in Chapter 23-24.11 entitled |

"Comprehensive Children's Jewelry Safety Act" is hereby amended to read as follows: |

     23-24.11-3. Requirements. -- All children's jewelry manufactured or sold, one hundred |

eighty (180) days after the effective date of this |

     SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
