LEGISLATIVE COMMISSION RELATING TO TAXATION – SALES TAX REPEAL ACT

OF 2013

     RESOLVED, That the joint legislative commission created by resolution 403, and passed

by the House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2013, and approved July 11, 2013,

entitled "Joint Resolution Relating to Taxation – Sales Tax Repeal Act of 2013” is hereby

4

authorized to continue its study and make a report to the General Assembly on or before March

5

27, 2014; and be it further

6

     RESOLVED, That the time for reporting authorized by resolution No. 403 passed by the

7

House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2013, and approved July 11, 2013, be and

8

the same is hereby rescinded.

BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL

EXTENDING THE REPORTING AND EXPIRATION DATES FOR THE JOINT

LEGISLATIVE COMMISSION RELATING TO TAXATION – SALES TAX REPEAL ACT

OF 2013

     This resolution would extend the reporting date for the Joint Legislative Commission

2

relating to taxation – Sales Tax Repeal Act of 2013 to current system pertaining to sales tax and

3

make recommendations from February 6, 2014, to March 27, 2014, and said commission shall

4

expire on April 25, 2014.
