It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, Linda |
2 | Peterson may join Lydia Law and Ben Alexander in marriage within the City of Newport, Rhode |
3 | Island, on or about July 18, 2014. Linda Peterson is hereby authorized and empowered to join the |
4 | foregoing persons in pursuant to and in accordance with chapter 15-3 of the general laws, entitled |
5 | “Solemnization of Marriages.” |
6 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
