It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 5-83 of the General Laws entitled "Propane Gas Sales" is hereby |
2 | amended by adding thereto the following section: |
3 | 5-83-7. Measurement of propane for sales purposes. -- (a) Propane supplied to |
4 | portable containers shall be measured and billed by weight, before and after filling, as shown on a |
5 | national type evaluation program scale. |
6 | (b) Propane supplied to containers which cannot be weighed shall be measured by a |
7 | national type evaluation program approved meter. |
8 | (c) The price per unit weight, or gallon, shall be conspicuously posted at the site of the |
9 | filling scale. |
10 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
