RELATING TO WATERS AND NAVIGATION -- NARRAGANSETT BAY COMMISSION | |

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 46-25 of the General Laws entitled "Narragansett Bay |
2 | Commission" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section: |
3 | 46-25-70. Ownership of sewer facilities -- Pawtucket. -- The Narragansett Bay |
4 | Commission shall own, operate and maintain sanitary sewer facilities in the city of Pawtucket, |
5 | including sanitary sewer mains, laterals and appurtenances; combined sewer mains, laterals and |
6 | appurtenances; and the five (5) sewer pumping stations that are currently owned, operated and |
7 | maintained by the city of Pawtucket. |
8 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
