It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Section 46-15.3-12 of the General Laws in Chapter 46-15.3 entitled "Public |
2 | Drinking Water Supply System Protection" is hereby amended to read as follows: |
3 | 46-15.3-12. Dissolution. – (a) If the board shall be dissolved, all funds of the board not |
4 | required for the payment of bonds shall be paid to the general treasurer for the use of the state, |
5 | and all property belonging to the board shall be vested in the state and delivered to it. If the fund |
6 | for the city of Providence shall be dissolved, all the funds not required for the payment of bonds |
7 | shall be paid to the city of Providence. |
8 | (b) Upon dissolution of the board corporate, all existing funds of the board corporate not |
9 | required for payment of bonds shall be transferred to the "water resources operating fund." |
10 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
