	RELATING TO GENERAL ASSEMBLY -- RENAMING BUILDING 71 IN THE PASTORE
	COMPLEX

	It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
1	SECTION 1. Chapter 22-7.4 of the General Laws entitled "Permanent Joint Committee
2	on Naming All New Buildings, Bridges, Edifices and Other State Constructions" is hereby
3	amended by adding thereto the following section:
4	22-7.4-124. The John J. Wrenn Building. -- Building 71 located in the Pastore
5	Complex in the city of Cranston, shall hereafter be named and known as "The John J. Wrenn
6	Building" in honor of the former Speaker of the Rhode Island House of Representatives, John
7	Wrenn, who championed the people of this state for fair housing and employment laws; and in
8	recognition of his outstanding leadership and myriad contributions to the state of Rhode Island.
9	SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
