RESOLUTION EXPRESSING DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO THE FRASER FAMILY ON | |
THE PASSING OF ELIZABETH MICHELLE FRASER | |

1 | WHEREAS, It is with profound sadness that this House of Representatives has learned of |
2 | the passing of Elizabeth Michelle Fraser (Wilcox). She passed away peacefully after fighting a |
3 | long and courageous battle against Multiple Sclerosis; and |
4 | WHEREAS, Elizabeth Fraser was a lifelong resident of Warwick, Rhode Island. She was |
5 | born in 1952 to the late Edward and Betty Wilcox. She was a Pilgrim High School graduate and |
6 | worked for Kent Hospital and MetLife Insurance. She was a devoted wife and mother who |
7 | always put her family first in her life, working nights and weekends when her children were |
8 | young to allow her to be home during the week. Additionally, she served for many years as a |
9 | member of the John Brown Francis Elementary School PTA, and was an original coordinator for |
10 | the Volunteers of Warwick Schools (VOWS). She also loved to cook and made her home a |
11 | special gathering spot for family and friends; and |
12 | WHEREAS, Elizabeth Fraser and her husband Robert Fraser met while they were |
13 | working at Kent Hospital. They were married for 39 years and raised their family in the Governor |
14 | Francis Farms home where Elizabeth grew up. Besides her husband, she leaves behind three |
15 | daughters, Kelley, Heather and Megan; her son-in-law Michael Pigeon, Megan’s fiancé, William |
16 | Geoghegan, and her granddaughter, Lily Grace Pigeon; now, therefore be it |
17 | RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island and |
18 | Providence Plantations hereby expresses its deepest condolences to the Fraser family on the |
19 | passing of Elizabeth Fraser; and be it further |

2 | transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to Mr. Robert Fraser. |
