EXPRESSING SINCERE CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF SARAH J. "JANE" | |

1 | WHEREAS, It is with utmost sadness that this House has learned of the passing of Sarah |
2 | J. "Jane" Langlois. She was the devoted wife of fifty-one years to Gerald W. Langlois, and |
3 | beloved mother of Michael Langlois, James Langlois, Jane Bodell, and Linda Burchfield; and |
4 | WHEREAS, Born in Pawtucket, Mrs. Langlois was a daughter of the late Francis and |
5 | Sarah Cherry. She was the sister of Veronica Beaulieu, Theresa Nacci, and the late Harold, |
6 | George, Joseph, Edward and James Cherry, Alice Snow, Mary Grzesik, Eileen Land, and Hazel |
7 | Audette; and |
8 | WHEREAS, Mrs. Langlois had been employed at Hasbro in Pawtucket for many years |
9 | before her retiring. In her leisure time, she enjoyed traveling, bowling, playing cards, and |
10 | gardening; and |
11 | WHEREAS, In addition to her husband and children, Mrs. Langlois was the adored |
12 | grandmother of ten beautiful grandchildren who were the light of her life; and |
13 | WHEREAS, Mrs. Langlois was the heart and soul of her family. Her kindheartedness and |
14 | sincerity will forever be indelibly imprinted on the lives and in the cherished memories of her |
15 | entire family. She enriched the lives of all who had the good fortune to have known her and she |
16 | will be dearly missed; now, therefore be it |
17 | RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island and |
18 | Providence Plantations hereby expresses our deepest sympathies on the passing of Sarah J. |
19 | Langlois; and be it further |

2 | transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to Gerald W. Langlois and Family. |
