EXPRESSING ITS DEEPEST CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF NANCY CAROL

(FELAG) THREADGILL

     WHEREAS, Nancy Carol (Felag) Threadgill passed away on December 4, 2013, in

2

Bristol, Rhode Island. She was born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Walter and Alexandria

3

(Olszowy) Felag, Sr., and was a longtime resident of Warren, Rhode Island; and

4

     WHEREAS, Nancy worked for many years for the Warren Housing Authority as a

5

Section 8 Coordinator. Nancy was a member of the Senate District 10 Democratic Committee, the

6

Orchard Lake Ladies Auxiliary, the Warren Youth Soccer Association and was a member of St.

7

Alexander’s Church. She lived in Dallas, Texas for 14 years; and

8

     WHEREAS, Nancy Carol Threadgill was the devoted mother of Alexandra Threadgill of

9

Warren. She was the sister of Senator Walter Felag, Jr. and his wife Elaine of Warren, Mark

10

Felag and his wife Adela of Barrington, John Felag and his wife Angela of Milford, Connecticut,

11

Mary Accrino and her husband Stephen of Bristol and Jayne Balasco and her husband Richard of

12

Warren. She was the daughter-in-law of James and Peggy Threadgill of Parker, Texas. She leaves

13

13 nieces and nephews, Brendan, Stephanie and Brian Felag, Jake and Zeke Felag, Alexandra and

14

Christine Johns, Martin and Millicent Balasco, Nick, Elizabeth, Jack and Kate Felag; now,

15

therefore be it

     RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations

17

hereby expresses its deepest condolences on the passing of Nancy Carol (Felag) Threadgill; and

18

be it further

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to

2

transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to Senator Walter S. Felag, Jr.
