1 | RESOLVED, That Rule 6.9 of the rules for the Senate adopted by the Senate at its |
2 | January session, A.D. 2013, entitled "Senate Resolution Adopting Rules of the Senate for the |
3 | Years 2013-2014," be and is hereby amended to read as follows: |
4 | 6.9 Deadline for Consideration. |
5 | After April 11, 2013 for the year 2013 and April 10, 2014 April 17, 2014, for the year |
6 | 2014, committees shall consider only those public bills which have been acted upon and |
7 | transmitted to the senate by the house of representatives; provided, however, that the president of |
8 | the senate may request a senate committee to immediately consider a senate bill then in |
9 | committee and said bill shall be considered by the committee. |
