	EXPRESSING CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF ANITA FINE

1	WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that this Senate has learned of the passing Anita
2	Fine, beloved wife of Allan "Mike" Fine for sixty-two years and a longtime resident of the City of
3	Pawtucket; and
4	WHEREAS, Born in Brookline, Mrs. Fine was the daughter of the late Leon and Yettie
5	Merson. She was a graduate of the University of Rhode Island and received her Master's Degree
6	in history from Rhode Island College; and
7	WHEREAS, Since her marriage, Mrs. Fine had been a resident of Pawtucket. She had
8	been employed by Southern New England Telephone for ten years; and
9	WHEREAS, Devoted to her faith, Mrs. Fine was a member of Temple Beth El and its
10	Sisterhood and was a member of the Rhode Island Jewish Historical Association. She had also
11	done volunteer work at Butler Hospital and was a past president of its Women's Auxiliary; and
12	WHEREAS, In addition to her husband, Mrs. Fine is survived by her children, Stuart
13	Fine and his wife, Amy, and Jeffrey Fine and his wife, Terri, and her grandchildren Emily, Janey,
14	Jonathan and Alexander; and
15	WHEREAS, Mrs. Fine enriched the lives of all who knew her. And while her memory
16	will be a blessing, she will be dearly missed; now, therefore be it
17	RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations
18	hereby expresses our deepest sympathies to the entire Fine Family on the passing of Anita Fine;
19	and be it further
20	RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and is hereby authorized and directed to

1	transmit duly certified copies of this resolution to Allan Fine and Family.
