S E N A T E   R E S O L U T I O N

EXPRESSING SINCERE CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF PARIDE LUIGI

AUTIELLO

     WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that this Senate has learned of the passing of Paride

2

"Pat" Autiello, the devoted husband of fifty-eight years to his wife Rosemarie, and the loving

3

father of Stephen Autiello and his wife Robyn, Paul Autiello and his wife Brenda, Cathy Martone

4

and her husband Kenneth, and Daniel Autiello and his wife Lisa; and

5

     WHEREAS, Born in North Providence to the late Antonio and Antonette Autiello, Pat

6

had served our country with honor and distinction in the United States Army during World War

7

II; and

8

     WHEREAS, Until his retirement in 2004, Pat was the President of Four A's Enterprises,

9

which operated City Auto Body and the Gulf Travel Center. He and his late brother Alfonso had

10

previously been the proprietors of Al and Pat's Shell Gas Station; and

11

     WHEREAS, Pat was a former member of Metacomet Country Club and had enjoyed

12

playing golf. He was active in the community as a member of the Providence Businessmen's

13

Association of the YMCA, and later as a member of the Jewish Community Center; and

14

     WHEREAS, In addition to his wife and children, Pat was the very proud grandfather of

15

Councilman Dino Autiello and his fiancé Shana Mancinho, Mario Martone, Esquire, Danielle and

16

husband, Nicholas Guadagno, Kenneth Martone, and his wife Alyson, Cory and Samantha

17

Martone, and Cassandra, Daniel, Zachary, and Gabriella Autiello. He is also survived by his

18

beloved niece Mary Ann Sorrentino and was the son-in-law of the late Virginia Vallese; and

19

     WHEREAS, Pat and Rosemarie escaped the New England winters in West Palm Beach,

Florida. They also loved to travel to attend various events and visit with their children and

2

grandchildren; and

3

     WHEREAS, Pat Autiello's warmth and enthusiasm are indelibly imprinted on the hearts

4

of all who had the good fortune to be part of his amazing life. He will be dearly missed and

5

forever remembered; now, therefore be it

6

     RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations

7

hereby extends our deepest sympathy to the entire Autiello Family on the passing of Paride Luigi

8

Autiello; and be it further

9

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to

10

transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to Mrs. Rosemarie Autiello and Family.
