It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Section 46-15.3-25 of the General Laws in Chapter 46-15.3 entitled "Public |
2 | Drinking Water Supply System Protection" is hereby amended to read as follows: |
3 | 46-15.3-25. Transfer of charges to Rhode Island clean water finance agency. -- |
4 | Transfer of charges. -- Notwithstanding any law, rule or regulation to the contrary, upon the |
5 | dissolution of the water resources board (corporate) pursuant to section 46-15.1-22, any charges |
6 | previously remitted to the water resources board (corporate) pursuant to this chapter shall be |
7 | remitted to the Rhode Island clean water finance agency, a body politic and corporate and public |
8 | instrumentality of the state established pursuant to chapter 46-12-2 maintained by each supplier to |
9 | support each supplier's water quality protection program. |
10 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
