It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 22-7.4 of the General Laws entitled "Permanent Joint Committee |
2 | on Naming All New Buildings, Bridges, Edifices and Other State Constructions" is hereby |
3 | amended by adding thereto the following section: |
4 | 22-7.4-122. The Honorable Raymond M. Durfee Bridge. -- The Pocasset River Bridge |
5 | No. 23, located on Reservoir Avenue in the city of Cranston shall hereafter be named and known |
6 | as "The Honorable Raymond M. Durfee Bridge" in recognition of his service and many |
7 | contributions to the state of Rhode Island. |
8 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
