RELATING TO SOLEMNIZATION OF MARRIAGES | |

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, the |
2 | Honorable John J.J. Jones, Jr., retired New York Suffolk County Supreme Court Justice, |
3 | may join June Friedmann and Allen Smith in marriage within the Town of New |
4 | Shoreham, Rhode Island, on or about September 4, 2014. The Honorable John J.J. Jones, |
5 | Jr., is hereby authorized and empowered to join the foregoing persons in marriage |
6 | pursuant to and in accordance with chapter 15-3 of the general laws, entitled |
7 | "Solemnization of Marriages." |
8 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
