RELATING TO SOLEMNIZATION OF MARRIAGES | |

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, Christine |
2 | Mitchell may join Michelle Melendy and Ben Albert in marriage within the City of Providence, |
3 | Rhode Island, on or about April 23, 2016. Christine Mitchell is hereby authorized and empowered |
4 | to join the foregoing persons in marriage pursuant to and in accordance with chapter 15-3 of the |
5 | general laws, entitled "Solemnization of Marriages." |
6 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
