EXPRESSING PROFOUND SYMPATHY ON THE PASSING OF MARIA F. CANARIO | |

1 | WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that this House has learned of the passing of Maria |
2 | F. Canario, the loving wife of more than fifty-one years to Josue S. Canario, and the devoted |
3 | mother of Josue D. Canario and his wife, Jennifer, and Mario J. Canario; and |
4 | WHEREAS, Born in St. Michaels, Azores, Mrs. Canario was the daughter of the late |
5 | John and Isabel Costa. She was the sister of John Costa, Manuel Costa, Lum Costa, Theresa |
6 | Mello, Dorothy Champigny, Fatima Medeiros, and the late Piadade Tavares; and |
7 | WHEREAS, A long-time resident of the Town of Warren, Mrs. Canario had previously |
8 | made her home in the Town of Bristol. She had been an assembler for the Converse Rubber |
9 | Company for many years and was a parishioner at St. Elizabeth Church; and |
10 | WHEREAS, In addition to her husband and children, Mrs. Canario leaves behind her five |
11 | beautiful grandchildren, Jocelyn, Janelle, Joshua, Alexa, and Lucas; and |
12 | WHEREAS, There is no doubt that Maria Canario left an indelible mark on the lives of |
13 | those she knew and loved, and she will be dearly missed; now, therefore be it |
14 | RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island and |
15 | Providence Plantations hereby expresses our deepest sympathies to the Canario Family on the |
16 | passing of Maria F. Canario; and be it further |
