H O U S E   R E S O L U T I O N

RECOGNIZING AND COMMENDING BRADY GULLUSCIO UPON ACHIEVING

SCOUTING'S MOST DISTINGUISHED HONOR, THE RANK OF EAGLE SCOUT

     WHEREAS, Scouting is a movement that challenges, inspires, and guides young men

toward high achievements and values as expressed in the Scout oath, law, motto, and slogan; and

     WHEREAS, Earning an Eagle Scout Badge, the pinnacle of achievement with the Boy

Scouts of America, is an exceptional distinction achieved by very few of the young men who

enter scouting; and

     WHEREAS, Brady Gulluscio is a remarkable young man who is eminently worthy of the

prestigious achievement of becoming an Eagle Scout, and also has the distinction of becoming

the 100th Eagle Scout from Troop 10 Westerly; and

     WHEREAS, Learning important lifelong skills and values, Brady earned numerous merit

badges and as the highlight of his scouting years, he completed the final step toward obtaining the

rank of Eagle Scout by planning and carrying out an extensive Eagle service project; and

     WHEREAS, It is essential and fitting to recognize the triumphs of our youth, and to

celebrate the accomplishments of our future leaders. Brady Gulluscio exemplifies everything an

Eagle Scout should be, and all that we hope our children will grow to be; now, therefore be it

     RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island and

Providence Plantations hereby honors Brady Gulluscio for all he has done to attain the rank of

Eagle Scout. We furthermore extend our deepest appreciation for his service to the community

and for setting a high standard of commitment and dedication by which youth of this great state

may follow. We moreover wish him good health and happiness and the best of times at his Eagle

Court of Honor where he will become the 100th Eagle Scout from Troop 10 Westerly; and be it

further

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to

transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to Mr. Brady Gulluscio.
