	RELATING TO STATE AFFAIRS AND GOVERNMENT -- LONG-TERM ECONOMIC
	DEVELOPMENT

	It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
1	SECTION 1. Chapter 42-64.17 of the General Laws entitled "Long-Term Economic
2	Development" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section:
3	42-64.17-2. Exemptions. – The towns of Coventry, East Greenwich and West Greenwich
4	are exempt from all the provisions set forth in § 42-64.17-1 pursuant to which policies and
5	obligations may be established.
6	SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.

2	all the terms and provisions of § 42-64.17-1 entitled the "Long-Term Economic Development
3	Vision and Policy."
