RELATING TO FISH AND WILDLIFE | |

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 20-14 of the General Laws entitled "Birds" is hereby amended by |
2 | adding thereto the following section: |
3 | 20-14-8.2. West shore of the Providence River. -- No person shall take, kill, destroy, or |
4 | pursue or in any manner molest any wild bird in that part of the cities of Warwick and Cranston |
5 | on the west shore of that portion of upper Narragansett Bay, which is also known as the |
6 | Providence River, from Gaspee Point to Fields Point or within one thousand feet (1,000') of the |
7 | west shore or banks of the Providence River from Gaspee Point to Fields Point. |
8 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
