	RELATING TO TOWNS AND CITIES -- PAYMENTS TO FIRE COMPANIES

	It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
1	SECTION 1. Chapter 45-18 of the General Laws entitled "Payments To Fire Companies"
2	is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section:
3	45-18-4. Payments to volunteer fire departments responding to emergencies along
4	Route 95. – Volunteer fire departments responding to emergencies on or along Route 95 in
5	Rhode Island shall be reimbursed from the Rhode Island general fund.
6	SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
