EXTENDING THE REPORTING DATES FOR THE JOINT RESOLUTIONS

RESPECTFULLY REQUESTING THE RHODE ISLAND DISABILITIES COUNCIL

EXAMINE AND REFINE ITS CURRENT POLICIES AND PRACTICES

     RESOLVED, That the reporting date for the Joint Resolution respectfully requesting the

Rhode Island Disabilities Council examine and refine its current policies and practices for the

3

adults with developmental disabilities protection and advocacy systems, created by resolution No.

4

398, and passed by the General Assembly at its January session, A.D. 2014, and approved July 1,

5

2014, entitled "Joint Resolution Respectfully Requesting The Rhode Island Disabilities Council

6

Examine and Refine its Current Policies and Practices for the Adults with Developmental

7

Disabilities Protection and Advocacy Systems" is hereby authorized to continue its study and

8

make a report to the General Assembly on or before April 10, 2015; and be it further

9

     RESOLVED, That the reporting date for the Joint Resolution Relating to Behavioral

10

Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities, and Hospital - Developmental Disabilities

11

Omsbudsperson Act of 2014, created by resolution No. 415, and passed by the General Assembly

12

at its January session, A.D. 2014, and approved July 1, 2014, entitled "Joint Resolution Relating

13

to Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities, and Hospitals - Developmental Disabilities

14

Omsbudsperson Act of 2014" is hereby authorized to continue its study and make a report to the

15

General Assembly on or before April 10, 2015; and be it further

     RESOLVED, That the time for reporting authorized by resolution No. 398 passed by the

2

General Assembly at its January session, A.D. 2014, and approved July 1, 2014, and resolution

3

No. 415 passed by the General Assembly at its January session, A.D. 2014, and approved July 1,

4

2014, be and the same is hereby rescinded.

     This resolution would extend the reporting dates for the Joint Resolutions respectfully

requesting the Rhode Island Disabilities Council to examine and refine its current policies and

practices from January 5, 2015, to April 10, 2015.
