RELATING TO CRIMINAL OFFENSES - EXPLODING TARGETS | |

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 11-47 of the General Laws entitled "Weapons" is hereby amended |
2 | by adding thereto the following section: |
3 | 11-47-64. Tannerite binary exploding targets prohibited. -- (a) The possession, sale, |
4 | or use of the components comprising a "binary exploding target" so called, as further described in |
5 | United States Patent U.S. 20030033952 A1 is hereby prohibited. |
6 | (b) Any person who violates the provisions of this section shall be punished by |
7 | imprisonment for not more than one year, or a fine of not more than one thousand dollars |
8 | ($1,000), or both. |
9 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
