	RELATING TO LABOR AND LABOR RELATIONS - FIREFIGHTERS' ARBITRATION

	It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
1	SECTION 1. Section 28-9.1-4 of the General Laws in Chapter 28-9.1 entitled
2	"Firefighters' Arbitration" is hereby amended to read as follows:
3	28-9.1-4. Right to organize and bargain collectively. -- The fire fighters in any city or
4	town have the right to bargain collectively with their respective cities or towns and be represented
5	by a labor organization in the collective bargaining as to wages, rates of pay, hours, working
6	conditions, platoon structure and/or shift schedule, and all other terms and conditions of
7	employment.
8	SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
