EXPRESSING CONDOLENCES TO THE KWOLEK FAMILY ON THE PASSING OF JULIE

A. KWOLEK

     WHEREAS, Julie A. (Cerroni) Kwolek passed away on Friday, April 10, 2015, at her

home surrounded by her family; and

     WHEREAS, Julie A. Kwolek was born in San Antonio, Texas, the daughter of Anne

Cerroni of Smithfield, and the late Emilio Cerroni. Julie lived in Greenville for most of her life.

She received her Master’s Degree in Special Education from Rhode Island College and served as

a Special Education Teacher at the Centredale Elementary School for more than twenty-five

years. During her distinguished teaching career, she received numerous awards including Teacher

of the Year, the Golden Apple, and the Unsung Hero Award; and

     WHEREAS, Julie was the beloved wife of Charles P. Kwolek, Jr, the devoted mother of

Charles P. Kwolek, III and Catherine E. Kwolek, and was the loving sister of Beth Cerroni. Julie

also leaves behind an extended family that includes many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and

great-nephews; now, therefore be it

     RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations

hereby expresses its condolences to the Kwolek Family on the passing of Julie A. Kwolek; and be

it further

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to

transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to Mr. Charles P. Kwolek.
