1 | WHEREAS, Julie A. (Cerroni) Kwolek passed away on Friday, April 10, 2015, at her |
2 | home surrounded by her family; and |
3 | WHEREAS, Julie A. Kwolek was born in San Antonio, Texas, the daughter of Anne |
4 | Cerroni of Smithfield, and the late Emilio Cerroni. Julie lived in Greenville for most of her life. |
5 | She received her Master’s Degree in Special Education from Rhode Island College and served as |
6 | a Special Education Teacher at the Centredale Elementary School for more than twenty-five |
7 | years. During her distinguished teaching career, she received numerous awards including Teacher |
8 | of the Year, the Golden Apple, and the Unsung Hero Award; and |
9 | WHEREAS, Julie was the beloved wife of Charles P. Kwolek, Jr, the devoted mother of |
10 | Charles P. Kwolek, III and Catherine E. Kwolek, and was the loving sister of Beth Cerroni. Julie |
11 | also leaves behind an extended family that includes many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and |
12 | great-nephews; now, therefore be it |
13 | RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations |
14 | hereby expresses its condolences to the Kwolek Family on the passing of Julie A. Kwolek; and be |
15 | it further |
16 | RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to |
17 | transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to Mr. Charles P. Kwolek. |
