S E N A T E   R E S O L U T I O N

EXPRESSING CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF MICHAEL F. KELLEY

     WHEREAS, Michael F. Kelley passed away with his family beside him on Sunday, May

17, 2015. He was the loving husband for 49 years of Judith S. Kelley; and

     WHEREAS, Michael F. Kelley was born in Warwick, Rhode Island, son of the late

Edward E. and Agnes Kelley. He graduated from Providence College, earning a Master's degree

in Education, with a focus on mathematics. He was a dedicated teacher and coach who made a

positive impact on the lives of the students he taught at West Warwick High School, Bishop

McVinny Catholic School and Bishop Hendricken High School; and

     WHEREAS, In addition to his wife Judith, Mr. Kelley leaves behind his three daughters;

Kristin D'Ambrosca, and her husband, Alfred, Melissa Kelley, and Courtney Silva and her

husband, Daniel. He was also the beloved grandfather of Greggory D'Ambrosca, Andrew

D'Ambrosca, Jillian D'Ambrosca, Jake Downey and Logan Downey; now, therefore be it

     RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations

hereby expresses its condolences to the Kelley Family on the passing of Michael F. Kelley; and

be it further

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to

transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to Mrs. Judith S. Kelley and Family.
