EXPRESSING CONDOLENCES TO THE MARCOTTE FAMILY ON THE PASSING OF | |

1 | WHEREAS, Robert J. Marcotte, a resident of the Town of Coventry, passed away on |
2 | June 6, 2015, surrounded by his family. He was the husband for 54 years of Meredith Marcotte; |
3 | and |
4 | WHEREAS, Mr. Marcotte was the son of the late Leslie and Dorothy E. Marcotte. He |
5 | was a direct descendent of Roger Williams and lived his entire life in Coventry; and |
6 | WHEREAS, Mr. Marcotte served our nation with honor and integrity in both the United |
7 | States Army and the United States Navy. He was self-employed and owned M&M Feed & |
8 | Supply in Coventry, and was also involved in the trucking business in later years. In his spare |
9 | time, he enjoyed tending his garden, and watching NASCAR; and |
10 | WHEREAS, In addition to his wife, Mr. Marcotte, is survived by his sons, Glenn R. |
11 | Marcotte and his wife, Amy, and Jeffrey M. Marcotte and his wife, Julie. He also leaves behind |
12 | his sister, Gail Breene Delmonico, and his brothers, Thomas L. Marcotte and William F. |
13 | Marcotte. He was also the proud grandfather of Pamela, Megan, Jaden, Justin and Jillian; now, |
14 | therefore be it |
15 | RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations |
16 | hereby expresses its condolences to the Marcotte Family on the passing of Robert J. Marcotte; |
17 | and be it further |
