It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 2-25 of the General Laws entitled "The Rhode Island Local |
2 | Agriculture and Seafood Act" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section: |
3 | 2-25-10. Seafood labeling. -- All seafood offered for sale in Rhode Island shall bear a |
4 | label indicating whether it is farm raised or wild. For the purposes of this chapter, seafood means |
5 | all fresh and saltwater fish and shellfish that are fit for human consumption. |
6 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
