S E N A T E   R E S O L U T I O N

EXPRESSING SINCERE CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF NANCY A.

CALDARONE

     Introduced By: Senators Lombardo, and Walaska

     WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that this Senate has learned of the passing of Nancy

A. Caldarone, a longtime resident of the Town of Johnston, and the beloved wife of the late

Raymond G. Caldarone; and

     WHEREAS, Born into the large and loving family of the late Mr. and Mrs. Domenico

"Thomas" and Emelia "Celia" Lombardi, Nancy Caldarone was the sister of Anne DiMaio,

Lucille Conca and her husband, Alfred, Thomas Lombardi, and the late Olga M. Costa. She was

also the cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews; and

     WHEREAS, In addition to her family life, Mrs. Caldarone had been employed at the

former Industrial National Bank in Providence, and had also worked for the City of Providence in

the Planning Department, until her retirement. She was an active parishioner at St. Robert

Bellarmine Church, and since her retirement, had enjoyed traveling; and

     WHEREAS, Memories of Nancy Caldarone will forever be indelibly imprinted on the

lives and in the cherished memories of her entire family. She enriched the lives of all who had

the good fortune to have known her, and she will be dearly missed; now, therefore be it

     RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations

hereby expresses our deepest sympathies on the passing of Nancy A. Caldarone; and be it further

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to

transmit duly certified copies of this resolution to Anne DiMaio, Lucille Conca, and Thomas

Lombardi.
