It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general law or public law to the contrary, the Cranston |
2 | City Council may, by ordinance or resolution, consider Colonel Michael Winquist to no longer be |
3 | a member of the Rhode Island Municipal Employees' Retirement System and therefore Colonel |
4 | Michael Winquist may participate as a member of the City of Cranston's 401(k) Retirement Plan. |
5 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
