CONGRATULATING SUZANNE KRAUSE ON BEING NAMED THE RICHMOND

GRANGE #6, 2016 "TEACHER OF THE YEAR"

     WHEREAS, Good teachers have an impact on society few other professions can match.

These teachers positively affect the lives of children, and help to shape America's future. At a

time when knowledge is the key to success in an information economy, quality teaching has never

been more critically important to the future success of a child, and to the future success of our

nation; and

     WHEREAS, Suzanne Krause, a beloved second grade teacher for the Chariho Regional

School District, is a devoted and exemplary teacher who has been named the Richmond Grange

#6, 2016 "Teacher of the Year." Ms. Krause is a dynamic and energetic teacher who cares deeply

about her students. She is always available whenever a student needs help and uses innovative

techniques to bring out the best in each and every pupil. She has a knack for making learning fun

for the students and for instilling in them the confidence they need to succeed both in the

classroom and in life; now, therefore be it

     RESOLVED, That this Senate of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations

hereby congratulates Suzanne Krause on being named the Richmond Grange #6, 2016 "Teacher

of the Year"; and be it further

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to

transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to Suzanne Krause.
