RELATING TO EDUCATION - ACADEMIC CREDIT FOR PARTICIPATION IN ROTC | |

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 16-101 of the General Laws entitled "Academic Credit For Military |
2 | Service" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section: |
3 | 16-101-2. Credit for junior ROTC. – The council on elementary and secondary |
4 | education shall adopt policies or regulations requiring each high school to award educational |
5 | credits to a student enrolled in the institution, based upon the student's participation in a high |
6 | school ROTC program. |
7 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
