It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Section 28-14-18.4 of the General Laws in Chapter 28-14 entitled "Payment |
2 | of Wages" is hereby amended to read as follows: |
3 | 28-14-18.4. Extension of protection. -- The protections set forth in § 28-14-18 and the |
4 | relief and damages for violations set forth in §§ 28-14-18.1 and 28-14-18.2 §28-14-19.2 shall also |
5 | apply to chapters 3, 6, 6.3, 6.4, 6.11,12, and 18, and 41 of this title and to chapter 23 of title 5. |
6 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
