	RELATING TO MOTOR AND OTHER VEHICLES -- OPERATORS' AND CHAUFFEURS'
	LICENSES--MEDICAL INFORMATION INCLUDED ON LICENSE

	It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
1	SECTION 1. Chapter 31-10 of the General Laws entitled "Operators' and Chauffeurs'
2	Licenses" is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section:
3	31-10-49. Medical condition designation.
4	The division of motor vehicles shall make available to persons with diabetes, epilepsy, or
5	other serious illness an indicator to voluntarily display their condition on the back of their Rhode
6	Island-issued license or identification card.
7	SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
