	RELATING TO THE WESTERLY HIGHER EDUCATION AND JOB SKILLS CENTER

	It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
1	SECTION 1. Appropriation to the Westerly Higher Education and Job Skills Center.
2	For the fiscal year commencing on or about July 1, 2017, the general assembly shall
3	appropriate out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated the sum of one million,
4	two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($1,250,000) to the Westerly Higher Education and Job Skills
5	Center, a domestic nonprofit organization, located in the town of Westerly. Such funds shall be
6	used to expand redevelopment efforts in order to invest in underutilized sites across the state.
7	SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
