It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows: | |
1 | SECTION 1. Chapter 45-18 of the General Laws entitled "Payments To Fire Companies" |
2 | is hereby amended by adding thereto the following section: |
3 | 45-18-4. Payments to volunteer fire departments and volunteer ambulance |
4 | organizations responding to emergencies along Route 95. |
5 | Volunteer fire departments and volunteer ambulance organizations responding to |
6 | emergencies on or along Route 95 in Rhode Island shall be reimbursed from the Rhode Island |
7 | general fund. |
8 | SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage. |
