	A N A C T
	RELATING TO SOLEMNIZATION OF MARRIAGES

	It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
1	SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, the
2	Honorable Julia L. Aurigemma, Judge of the Middlesex District Superior Court in Connecticut,
3	may join Kathryn Abbott DeNapoli and James Michael Mathews in marriage within the City of
4	Newport, Rhode Island, on or about May 20, 2017. The Honorable Julia L. Aurigemma is hereby
5	authorized and empowered to join the foregoing persons in marriage pursuant to and in
6	accordance with Chapter 3 of Title 15 of the General Laws, entitled "Solemnization of
7	Marriages."
8	SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
