AMENDING THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE PERMANENT ADVISORY COUNCIL FOR THE

RHODE ISLAND HOUSE VETERANS' AFFAIRS COMMITTEE

     RESOLVED, That the composition of the permanent advisory council created by

resolution No. 003 passed by the House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2004, and

3

approved January 7, 2004, entitled "House Resolution Creating a Permanent Advisory Council

4

for the Rhode Island House Veterans' Affairs Committee" and as amended by resolution No. 246

5

passed by the House of Representatives at its January session, A.D. 2004, and approved May 11,

6

2004, entitled "House Resolution Amending resolution 04-003, 2004 H 7010, Enacted January 7,

7

2004, creating the Permanent Advisory Council for the Rhode Island House Veterans' Affairs

8

Committee," and as amended by resolution No. 028 passed by the House of Representatives at its

9

January session, A.D. 2006, and approved January 11, 2006, entitled "House Resolution

10

Amending the Permanent Advisory Council for the Rhode Island House Veterans' Affairs

11

Committee" be and the same is hereby amended by changing the membership to fifteen (15)

12

members; all of whom shall be honorably discharged veterans and be qualified electors of this

13

state, to be appointed by the Speaker of the House.

BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL

AMENDING THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE PERMANENT ADVISORY COUNCIL FOR THE

RHODE ISLAND HOUSE VETERANS' AFFAIRS COMMITTEE

     This resolution would amend the membership of said commission by increasing the

2

number of members to fifteen (15), all of whom would be honorably discharged veterans and be

3

qualified electors of this state.
