EXPRESSING CONDOLENCES ON THE PASSING OF RAYMOND O'BRIEN

     WHEREAS, Raymond O'Brien, a long-time resident of Warwick, passed away on May

2

13, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Eileen J. O'Brien; and

3

     WHEREAS, Raymond was born in Providence, the son of the late Francis and Thelma

4

O'Brien. He was a United States Navy veteran who served our nation with honor and distinction

5

during the Vietnam War; and

6

     WHEREAS, Raymond was a printer by trade, and was the owner and operator of Bristol

7

Printing. He was a hard-working man who strived daily to love, protect and provide for his loved

8

ones. In his spare time he was an avid bowler. He will be sorely missed by all of his family

9

members and many friends, but will live on in the hearts of all who knew him; and

10

     WHEREAS, In addition to his wife Eileen, he is survived by his son, Raymond J. O'Brien

11

and his wife, Catherine, and two daughters, Katie Spolidoro and Kerri L. Trottier. He also leaves

12

behind a brother, Charles O'Brien, seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He was the

13

brother of the late Michael O'Brien; now, therefore be it

14

     RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island and

15

Providence Plantations hereby expresses its condolences on the passing of Raymond O'Brien; and

16

be it further

     RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to

2

transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to Mrs. Eileen J. O'Brien and Family.
