	A N A C T
	RELATING TO THE COVENTRY FIRE DISTRICT

	It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
1	SECTION 1. Section 3 of Chapter 806, of the 1889 Public Laws entitled "An Act to
2	Incorporate the Coventry Fire District" and as subsequently amended, is hereby further amended
3	to read as follows:
4	Sec. 3 The annual meeting of said district shall be holden on the second Tuesday
5	Wednesday of December November in each year. Effective for 2017 through 2018, the district's
6	fiscal year shall be from December 1, 2017 to December 31, 2018. Beginning on January 1, 2019,
7	and each year thereafter the district's fiscal year shall be the calendar year, from January 1 until
8	December 31.
9	SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.

1	This act would change the date of the annual meeting of the Coventry Fire District from
2	the second Tuesday of December to the second Wednesday of November. And would change the
3	district's fiscal year to the calendar year beginning in 2019.
4	This act would take effect upon passage.
